We are seeking an experienced and motivated Conservation Officer to join our team.
Our office is in Mumbai. You will be reporting to the Executive Trustee.
We are looking for a young individual with a high level of motivation, who should be prepared to work both in the office and in the field, with
• Prior relevant experience (1–3 years) in environmental conservation, wildlife protection, ecology, law, or related fields.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in challenging situations and manage responsibilities independently.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills – both written and verbal
Experience in research, documentation, coordination, or policy-related work; field exposure would be useful but not mandatory.
• Working knowledge of environmental and wildlife laws would be an advantage.
• Ability to quickly pick up new skills and adapt to evolving responsibilities.
• Genuine passion for the environment, wildlife, and conservation work.
Additionally:
Skills in computers, photography, GIS, etc. are desirable. Languages – English, Marathi, Hindi are essential
Age:
25-40, but may be relaxed for deserving candidates
Remuneration:
Negotiable based on experience and qualifications.

We welcome students willing to intern with us on environment related / legal issues. Interns can write to us with a brief summary about their background. Interns are expected to work with us for atleast 12 weeks.
