DEVELOPMENT PLAN WORKSHOP – MUMBAI

CAT conducted a consultative workshop on Environmental Sustainability & Open Space Session Development Plan (DP) for Greater Mumbai 2014-2034 at the request of the Municipal Commissioner, and it was jointly conducted with the Municipal Commissioner of Greater Mumbai (MCGM) for the draft DP 2014. The objective of this workshop was to project was to suggest/recommend and discuss specific points that need to be included in the draft Development Plan.  CAT has also participated in all the consultative DP workshops held for other themes. It was observed that though this draft DP had many flaws, many of the suggestions from the consultative workshops were included in the draft, which had been eventually scrapped.
